Hi Jami 3 weeks out that is great. My advice is make sure you chew chew. As far as the shrimp goes I boil the frozen shrimp even tho they say fully cooked. I add boiled eggs some celery some chopped onion and mayo and a little FF catalina dressing and that is my shrimp salad. Fresh tuna is wonderful on the grill. I would baste it with garlic and butter and lemon. Seafood has tons of protien but go easy because you dont want something to get stuck. Also I found most everything I eat these days I swear up and down it has got to be the best thing ever.                                       Annie

It is never too late to be what you might have been.?

Yes I really have been practicing on my chewing!!! Its funny because it almost seems to come naturally!!! But I suppose I will get my time, where i get a chunk of something!! The shrimp salad sounds really yummy!! I actually happen to have some ff catalina from when my mom was here :) I CANNOT wait to start having "real food" and this week is the start of it!!! And I am looking to make changes and learn how to cook healthy foods and make it taste like the best thing ever :) It's funny that you said that..LOL Thanks for your reply!! I appreciate it so much!!

Tilapia is a really good mild tasting fish. And, it also has 23g of protein in 4 oz.  I buy mine at Sam's club.  They come frozen and individually sealed, so you can just take out what your going to eat.  I dip mine in a little bit of low carb ketchup. Hope this helps! Andrea

I will try Tilapia!! I didn't buy it today, because i wasn't sure if it was real fishy or not!! Does it have bones?? I love that they are individually sealed!! I suppose I will be sick of fish by next week, then it's on to poultry...LOL I had some cashews for a snack and omigoodness they tasted so yummy and managed to stay down :) woohoo for real food!! LOL  Thanks girl for your reply :) ((HUGS))

No bones, and it is so easy to cook.  Once defrosted in a bowl of water for about 20 minutes or over night in fridge, just cook at 425 for about 8-10 minutes.  You can spray them with spray butter too!!!  they are very mild tasting.  My hubby used to LOVE flounder, now tilapia is his favorite. Yes, tilapia is very pouch-friendly.  Very soft and moist and mild flavored.  I like to sautee it in a little butter with lemon juice and dill.  Enjoy!  Also crab is very pouch friendly, low in calories, and high in protein!

Yummmm!! The butter, lemon juice and dill sound wonderful!! That might even be good sauteeing some shrimp too, huh?!? I seriously am so illiterate when it comes to cooking seafood at home..LOL I hear about Tilapia, but like i said i was never a fish fan, but i need to start loving it!!!  What about grilling shrimp?? Does anyone know the best way to do that? THANKS FOR YOUR REPLIES!!! All of this will definately get me started!!
